CIVILIZATION ONE: Tour Dates Announced

CIVILIZATION ONE, the group featuring vocalist Chitral "Chity" Somapala (highly regarded for his work with AVALON, FIREWIND, FARO, MOONLIGHT AGONY and RED CIRCUIT),guitarist Christian Münzner (ex-NECROPHAGIST, MAJESTY) and bassist Pierre-Emmanuel Pélisson (MALADAPTIVE, ex-HEAVENLY),has scheduled the following dates:

Mar. 08 - Zum Quellenpark "Rock in der Scheune" - Bad Soden, Germany
Mar. 21 - Het Front - Overijssel, Vroomshoop, Netherlands
Mar. 22 - Titans of Power Festival - Nettetal-Kaldenkirchen / Germany
May 09 - Die Halle – Frankfurt, Germany
May 31 - Börsencrash Festival – Wuppertal, Germany
Jul. 18 - Dong Open Air - Neukirchen-Vluyn, Germany
Nov. 22 - Power of Metal Festival III - Multi Cult at Masperplatz – Paderborn, Germany

CIVILIZATION ONE's current lineup includes newly added second guitarist Björn Daigger (MAJESTY, R:I:P) and drummer Holger Rodammer.

"During our release party, Björn did an amazing job and we felt great working with him," CIVILIZATION ONE wrote in a statement. "Holger Rodammer is our new drummer as well, and we are planning our second album right now which is gonna be a blast!"

CIVILIZATION ONE recently placed three songs from its debut album, "Revolution Rising", on the band's MySpace page. The tracks are "Life of Agony", "The Lost Souls" and "Welcome to Paradise".

CIVILIZATION ONE is an international musical entity comprised of musicians from Sri Lanka, Italy, France, and Brazil. "Revolution Rising" was produced by the band themselves and recorded at studios in France, Italy, and Germany, with mixing and mastering by Markus Teske (VANDEN PLAS, DOMINICI, SYMPHONY X) at Bazement Studios in Germany. "Revolution Rising" features 10 songs, including "Legends of the Past (Carry On)" and "Time Will Tell".
